My observations are that the hotel could not accommodate the number of people attending this and there was a detrimental effect on existing guests that are looking for tranquility. Everything was good, but it needs more staff, more maintenance, and fix the spa. Some parts like the gardens to the pool need more attention- some refurbishment has been done and a bit shoddy - not a criticism though. Due to low season not many people in the hotel. There were some internal confusion between staff members regarding the opening hours of the pool bar.
Very tranquil hotel in the middle of nowhere. Location is rural and peaceful but only a short drive to many local towns, beaches, bars, resturants and attractions. Breakfast is awful. All industrial food from bred onwards, not a single fruit of season. Actually bad kiwis and green pears or apple. Its summer! Many star hotel have a much better and healthier breakfast. Maintenance is really poor, including Spa Pool is not very clean.
Quiet place in a way Nice view Spa open till late Staff are nice and smiling. When travelling abroad and alone you like this kind of interaction especially in that kind of hotel. Staff should have more than basic English knowledges, especially, front desk. Not very helpful when you ask for advices to visit around. Big up for the housekeeping staff and especially the cleaning lady from the second floor.
